范兴2009年获北京大学博士学位,之后回重庆大学工作至今,历任讲师、副教授、教授(2016)。现任中国材料研究学会太阳能材料分会副秘书长、重庆市化学化工学会常务副秘书长、重庆市高校化生类专业教指委委员、中国化学会高级会员等入选全国高校“双带头人”教师党支部书记、国家一流本科课程负责人等。

  获批主持NSFC项目多项,以及国家青年拔尖霍英东教师基金、教育部新世纪江西省双千计划·创新领军、重庆英才计划·青年拔尖等;在Nat.Energy等发表SCI论文80余篇,多篇论文先后入选《Nature》、《Nat.Mater.》、《Nat.Commun.》、《Matter》等期刊“研究亮点”或“年度论文”专栏;作为通讯主编出版英文学术专著1部(Wiley-VCH出版社);授权排名第一发明专利20余项,多项技术得到企业应用,技术转化孵化国家高新技术企业1家;参订中国标准化协会团体标准1项;获2025年中国纺织工业联合会科学技术二等奖(1/5)、2021年重庆市化学化工学会基础成果二等奖(1/5)、2018年教育部自然科学二等奖(3/8)、2014年重庆市科技进步一等奖(3/11)等;担任The Innovation》、《防化研究》、《Nano Materials Science》等期刊青年编委及编委。
