Li Jing received her Bachelor (1999) and Master (2003) degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University. She received her Ph.D. Degree (2008) in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore. During 2008 to 2011, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Advanced Materials at Fudan University. During 2011 to 2012, She joined the Department of Chemistry at Tongji University as an associate professor. From 2012 to 2014, she worked as a research scientist in the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), Singapore. Since 2014, she has been working in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Chongqing University as a Professor.
Li Jing’s research group is interested in: (1) development of novel electrocatalytic materials for energy conversion and storage devices such as fuel cells, Li-S batteries and supercapacitors, in which they study the electrochemical, catalytic and interfacial properties of the catalytic materials and address critical performance parameters; and (2) exploration of new synthetic strategies and architectural designs for ordered mesoporous materials with increasing compositional and structural complexities, in order to meet the various challenges in energy applications.
